About the wine
100% Mencía sourced from 10 hectares of 60 year old vines in Arganza and Valtuille de Abajo and Cacabelos, grown on a mix of red clay, sand and slate. Grapes manually harvested. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts at 24°C for 21 days. Aged on the lees then rested in bottle for a minimum of 2 months prior to release.
