Description
A full bodied, silky and elegant southern French red from the shores of the Mediterranean near Narbonne. This delightful blend of Carignan, Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah amply demonstrates that. No oak ageing takes place here so the pure fruitiness is allowed to do its own thing.
Tasting note
There are pronounced aromas of blackcurrant, prune, fig and sweet spice followed by a lovely and rich palate with intense and complex flavours of fresh and dried fruit, clove, cinnamon, prune and liquorice, with soft ripe tannins and a long finish.
