Other information

The name changes, the La Petite Roche cuvée becomes the Alliance. A dry white wine from different Savennières terroirs, mainly young vines, and a selection of press juices. Vinification on lees and aging in vats for 12 months.

Tasting note

"A kind of "baby" Savennières which plays with its pep by deploying citrus fruits, loquat, white pepper and herbal infusions. From the first nose, we grasp the pedigree of the place, and the simplicity of the composition. "is quite addictive as a cocktail! On the palate, it is between attack comfort and salivating dynamism that composes this cuvée." Manuel Peyrondet, best sommelier in France (Chais d'Oeuvre)

Food pairing

A treat on a fish dish, just grilled, shellfish or even pan-fried vegetables with saffron. The Alliance goes perfectly with a nice cheese platter.

About the producer

With 8.5ha of organically farmed vineyards, Damien Laureau currently produces three very different expressions of the Savennières terroir, produced from 3 plots of land: Les Genêts, Le Bel Ouvrage and Savennières-Roche-aux-Moines. Working with a tiny team out of a small shed, everything here is done by hand and the
attention to detail shines through in Damien’s wines. As a result, production remains very small.
