About the wine
Sourced from 3 distinct parcels (Clos Genets, St Jean and Les Saunières), all with an average age of vines of at least 50 years. Hand harvested. 5 days pre-fermentation cold maceration. Natural yeasts. Prefer to use rémontage rather than pigeage for a gentler tannin extraction. 12-15 months maturation, 50% in oak barriques and 50% in cuve. Matured on lees. Light filtration at bottling.
A supple pleasing wine with red fruits on the nose, to drink up to 5 years old.
